The Utah Rivers Council is looking for volunteers, both individuals and groups, to join in the third annual cleanup of Provo River on Sept. 30. As a nationally recognized fly-fishing stream with a popular paved trail, the Provo River area attracts a great deal of traffic, which unfortunately means the river attracts trash as well, said Merritt Frey, the council's executive director.
