The parent company of Salomon Sports will move the sporting goods manufacturer's North American headquarters from Portland to Ogden, Utah, next summer, affecting about 75 jobs.
Business Opening Movie online retailer opens in Orem -- Herman Street, an Ogden-based online retailer of classic movies, opened its second Utah store at the University Mall in Orem. Founded in December 2004, Herman Street sells more than 65,000 specialty DVDs, TV series, software, games and music online and has a retail store at the Newgate Mall in Ogden.

Jeffrey L. Anderson, associate chief of cardiology at LDS Hospital and professor of internal medicine at the University of Utah, has been named secretary of the American Heart Association's Board for the Western States Affiliate serving California, Nevada and Utah. Weber State University has named Brian Shuppy as the director of its budget office.

And cash appears to be key to the group's success. Seven years ago, the Realtors reported a zero balance in their political action committee (PAC).
