While riding on Moab's famed slickrock, dodging cacti, hopping off ledges and falling victim to sand pits, endurance racing entrepreneur Laird Knight had an epiphany - Moab would be the perfect venue for a 24-hour mountain biking race. "It was so clear, I knew it was bound for glory," he said.
