The public is invited to join the Ukiah Garden Club tonight for its first night meeting, located at 1203 Clay St. at 7 p.m. and, chances are, participants will be home for their favorite 9 p.m. program on TV.
The Ronceverte City Council Monday named Jan Johnson to join the governing body. A lifelong resident of the town, she will serve out the unexpired term of Roger Griffith, who resigned his seat in August.
