LOGAN - Utah State's Ben Calderwood, a sophomore from Sky View High School in Smithfield, has been named the Western Athletic Conference defensive player of the week for his performance in Saturday's 13-12 win over Fresno State. Calderwood finished with nine tackles - the most by an Aggie defensive lineman in three years - as Utah State snapped a five-game losing streak.
